CryptoGuard Terms of Service

Last updated: 26.11.2025

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the CryptoGuard browser extension and website (the “Service”).

By installing or using CryptoGuard, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

CryptoGuard is a browser proxy extension that routes browser traffic through a high-privacy SOCKS5 proxy server located in the Netherlands.

The Service is designed to improve browser-level privacy and provide stable, crypto-friendly routing for supported browser traffic only.

CryptoGuard does not function as a system-wide VPN and does not modify or replace your internet connection. Only browser traffic routed through the extension is affected.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
By using CryptoGuard, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. No-Logs & Privacy

CryptoGuard follows a strict no-logs policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use CryptoGuard for:

• any illegal activities under Dutch, EU, or international law
• hacking, DDoS attacks, or network abuse
• malware distribution or harmful activities
• fraud, scams, spam, or unauthorized data collection
• actions that damage or overload the Service infrastructure

We reserve the right to limit or suspend access if usage threatens service stability or security.

CryptoGuard is not responsible for user behavior.

6. Service Availability

The Service is provided on an “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously available.

Maintenance, updates, or unexpected outages may occur.

7. No Warranty (Disclaimer)

CryptoGuard is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, including:

• merchantability
• fitness for a particular purpose
• non-infringement

We do not guarantee specific speeds, performance, anonymity level, or results.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CryptoGuard shall not be liable for:

• loss of data
• financial or crypto-related losses
• indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• damages caused by misuse of the Service

Use of the Service is at your own risk.

9. Payments & Third-Party Platforms

If paid features are offered via third-party platforms (such as browser stores or payment providers), their billing terms apply.

CryptoGuard does not store or process payment information.

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time.
The latest version will always be available on our website.

Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

• these Terms are violated
