CryptoGuard Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the CryptoGuard browser extension, website, and VPN/proxy services (“Service”).
By installing or using CryptoGuard, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

CryptoGuard provides a secure, encrypted, no-logs VPN and proxy connection through a high-privacy server located in the Netherlands.

CryptoGuard is designed for:

  • anonymous browsing

  • privacy protection

  • crypto-friendly secure connections

  • safe communication through an encrypted tunnel

CryptoGuard does not provide internet access on its own; it enhances your existing connection with privacy features.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
By using CryptoGuard, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. No-Logs & Privacy

CryptoGuard follows a strict no-logs policy.
We do not track, store, or monitor your online activities.

Our Privacy Policy explains data practices in detail and is part of these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use CryptoGuard for:

  • any illegal activities under Dutch, EU, or international law

  • hacking, DDoS, or network abuse

  • distributing malware or harmful content

  • fraud, scams, spam, or unauthorized data collection

  • activities that harm CryptoGuard infrastructure

We reserve the right to temporarily suspend access if usage threatens service stability or security.

CryptoGuard is not responsible for user behavior.

6. Service Availability

CryptoGuard aims for maximum uptime, but we do not guarantee the Service will be:

  • uninterrupted,

  • error-free,

  • available at all times.

Maintenance or unexpected outages may occur.

7. No Warranty (Disclaimer)

CryptoGuard is provided “as is” without any warranties, including:

  • merchantability

  • fitness for a specific purpose

  • non-infringement

We do not guarantee specific speeds, performance, or results.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CryptoGuard shall not be liable for:

  • loss of data

  • financial losses

  • crypto losses

  • indirect or incidental damages

  • damages caused by misuse of the Service

Your use of CryptoGuard is at your own risk.

9. Payments & Third-Party Platforms

If you purchase premium features via third-party platforms (Google, Apple, Stripe, etc.), their billing terms apply.

CryptoGuard does not store any payment data.

10. Modifications

We may update or modify these Terms at any time.
The updated version will be published on our website.

Continued use of the Service after changes means acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate Service access if:

  • you violate these Terms

  • you misuse the VPN for illegal purposes

  • service integrity is threatened

You may stop using and uninstall the extension at any time.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by:

Laws of the European Union and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Any disputes will be resolved under Dutch jurisdiction.
